Origins and Destinies  "Then I desired to know the truth concerning the fourth beast...and the other (little) horn which arose...which had eyes and a mouth which spoke great things...this horn made war with the saints until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was given for the saints of the Most High, and the time came for them to receive the kingdom...he (the little horn) shall be different from the former ones...he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints...But the court shall sit in judgment, and his dominion shall be taken away to be consumed and destroyed to the end." (Daniel receiving his vision of the ultimate Antichrist and its precise interpretation, Daniel 7)

"...upon the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator." (Daniel 9:27)

"Go your way Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the end time. Many shall cleanse themselves...but the wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand. And from the time that the burnt offering is taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days." (Daniel 12:9-11)

Celebrated by millions...today

There are many prototypes of the Antichrist given in Scripture and the abomination that he sets up and commits. One important fulfiller of this prophecy was Antiochus IV (Epiphanes) of the Greek empire (third beast of Daniel's vision) who desecrated the Jerusalem temple with replacement sacrifices in a most disgusting manner between 168 and 165 BC. Another was emperor Titus of the Roman Empire (fourth beast of Daniel's vision) who destroyed the Jerusalem temple and defiled the sanctuary in 70 AD as predicted by Jesus (Matthew 24:15).

All these, including the "little horn" of Greece, were foreshadowings and repetitive types of the final "man of sin,"  the "little horn" of Rome who would come in great and personal satanic empowerment with his subtle yet dreadful abomination to end all desecrations, the worst substitute and sacrificial insult ever to be thrown in the face of God. He and his system continuously rule the earth until the Day of Judgment.

You read that correctly. There is no gap in Daniel's story as "evangelists" would attempt to deceive you. And there is no fifth beast in world history. According to Daniel the fourth beast rules now, from the first to the second coming of Christ. The abomination that makes desolate is NOW. You may even have watched it performed by millions on TV in the last week. You may have taken part in it yourself.

Find out what it is, and who the horn is, at the head of it, while there is still time, by reading The Truth Which Sets Free.
