Origins and Destinies "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all the things that I have commanded; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Jesus, Matthew 28:18-20)

"Silver and gold have I none, but what I have I give to you. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, rise up and walk." (The apostle Peter, Acts 3:6)

Great Commission?

Do you really have any idea what the authentic commission that Jesus charged his apostles to perform is all about, reader? Over many years I've certainly received my share of letters and emails telling me that I don't have a clue. And always these messages are from people absolutely in love with Satan's ace card. Everything they tell me is steeped in the church and its agenda.

Make no mistake about this; the "great commission" of which such people speak is a Christian invention, both its name and its aim. And like the dark lord, these fabricators warp the Word to justify their objective, in particular using the verses from Matthew 28, quoted above.

Their "great commission" should never be confused with the assignment that Christ gave to his apostles. Jesus did not send out his disciples to fulfill the "missions" that churchmen have since devised and so adore. Frauds hate the real assignment when it is declared to them, just like the churchmen who were so riled when the apostles actually healed people and told them the truth. The counterfeits will choose church and sabbath over life and light, again and again. For centuries they have persecuted, imprisoned and executed the Lord's elect for declaring the real assignment, because this exposes their own deceptive substitute. The replacement scheme fashioned by Christians does not set people free or cause them to rise and walk. It is a program for goats. It shackles them in church chains, cripples them, puts them to sleep, and finally buries them in that fixed state.

Check the Scriptures. Read them very carefully, every verse dealing with this critical subject. What did the apostles do when the Lord sent them forth? What was their plain intent and unrelenting focus? And just as important, what did they not do? This same task is set before the sheep today. It has not changed an iota. It is so obvious that instead of expounding all those texts I will put it to you very simply.

Make disciples, not churches. The kingdom of God on earth is not the churchdom of men.

The elect disciples of Christ did not engage in "church planting" or any of the other inventions that Christians bent into their grand plan. What their "great commission" presents is in fact a clear and ever present danger to the souls of unsuspecting victims. So if you have not yet grasped what the critical difference is between discipleship and churchmanship, or what is really meant by sheep and goats, then now is the time to read The Truth Which Sets Free and The Dark Powers That Bind.
