Defender of the Faith The Queen of All Faiths The regal title, The Queen of All Faiths, was given to Elizabeth II in 2002 by Sikhs when she opened a temple for them. 30 years ago there was a furor over an Islamic mosque being built beside Regent's Park, London, because it was well known that this was not a cultural exchange but a one-way street. No reciprocal cathedral or Hindu or Buddhist temple could be newly built in Mecca or Riyadh or anywhere else in the suffocating and intolerant realm of Muhammad. But in Britain anything was let in the door in the naive guise of "tolerance." Now the British Government or its "Royal Family" will cut the ribbon for just about anything. Like the USA, England will inevitably find out the cost of such short-sighted folly. Elizabeth II also has another title: "Defender of the Faith." This was not given directly to her. She inherited it. Who gave this title to the English monarchy and why is it so apt? In the past, a few kings and queens have stood for something and even died for their convictions. Elizabeth II clearly seeks to please all, offending none, and as a result stands for nothing of consequence. Her policy is like that of fellow Christian and former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair; it is an ecumenical and feeble attempt to keep everyone happy. This "politically correct" stance is destined to fail in the End, sliding like sticky-sweet syrup to the edge of a chasm with no bottom in sight. To her credit Elizabeth II has avoided the scandals which have infested her immoral and undisciplined family. The next generation has already proved itself to be much worse. One of them will inherit the title, Defender of the Faith. And they will defend and propagate this faith, but it's not the one you think it is. This revelation makes the tabloid tales of "royal affairs" look tame. Find out the past, present and future role of the English monarchy and the Anglican or Episcopal Church, and about the spiritual prostitution committed by the rulers of the whole earth with another strange and wanton woman, in The Truth Which Sets Free. |
